Raspberry Pi

Do You Want a low cost alternative to a PC?

If you only ever use your computer to look at the internet or write the odd document, or even play old video games, have you considered an alternative?

I hear these are amazingly cheap. Surely it can't do everything I do on my PC?

Absolutely not, it won't run software like iTunes (at least not yet), nor is it the fastest machine out there, but if you just want a computer to use the internet, write documents or create spreadsheets, it probably does everything you need.

We have been using RaspberryPi single-board computers for over 3 years. We have completed various projects including creating desktop replacement machines and we have even created two different arcade machines which play classic games from the 80s and 90s.

If you want advice as to whether this is right for you, or want a system setup for you, we can provide this service.

Once you have made the decision, we will even configure and install the device for you

The Desktop Kit includes:

  • A RaspberryPi 3B+ (the current highest specification model)
  • A certified Power Supply
  • Case
  • Memory card

The cost for this fully installed is £100. You will need to add a USB Keyboard and Mouse and connect it to a screen using an HDMI cable (not included).

The Games Kit includes:

  • A RaspberryPi 3B+
  • A certified Power Supply
  • Case
  • Memory Card
  • Instructions on how to install the system.
  • Installation advice service

The cost for this is £100. You will need to add a USB Keyboard and Mouse and connect it to a screen using an HDMI cable (not included). Optionally you can also add a USB gamepad (such as a wired XBox control pad). Due to the licensing restrictions on the software, this setup cannot be supplied fully installed, however the instructions are detailed step by step (you will need a PC to save the data to the memory card) and our engineers will provide support throughout the process.
